Kalymnos Electrolytes was born from a legacy that began in 1913, when my great‑grandfather, Nicholas Michael Marinos I, left the Greek island of Kalymnos-a place known for its sponge diving tradition-and immigrated to Tarpon Springs, Florida. He carried his craft across the ocean, diving the Gulf waters with the same grit and pride that defined generations of Kalymnians.

Three generations later, I’m Nicholas Michael Marinos IV, a formulation chemist who has spent years inside the consumer packaged goods industry. I’ve seen firsthand how inefficiencies and shortcuts inflate prices while lowering quality. That never sat right with me.

So I built something better.

Kalymnos Electrolytes honors my family’s roots by using Mediterranean sea salt, a nod to the waters my great‑grandfather once worked in. Every blend is crafted with intention, transparency, and respect for the customer. No shortcuts. No inflated margins. No compromises.
